"Waiting"

Delirious from the night's lack of sleep,

I grab my morning boost and go

I wonder if anyone drives like I do

thinking what time will bring you

maybe you feel blessed or

just that you're not the other guy

it's been said worrying leads to worry and

it won't add a day to your life

sit back and ponder that the creator knows every desire of your heart

as I get older the past seems more important than it ever was before

so I think back to where I was,

consider how it use to be

and I know everything is all right

yes it is hard, but that is why I'm better,

I pray I won't give up the fight!
